Masks OPTIONAL for Tuesday, February 22, 2022

Good Morning Parents and Guardians of Richmond Community Schools,

First and foremost, RCS truly apologizes for the inconsistent messaging that has surrounded our face masking procedures. This matter is of true importance to all RCS stakeholders (faculty, staff, students, parents/guardians, and patrons) and we will continue to work together to address it accordingly. With that said, today, Tuesday, February 22, 2022 RCS will indeed be exercising our revised face masking procedures, therefore providing all faculty, staff, students and stakeholders the option to wear a face mask. Again, today, Tuesday, February 22, 2022 RCS will not be requiring face masking for faculty, staff, students, and stakeholders.

Over the next two days, RCS will be engaged in extensive conversations with our school community to assure that concerns from our parents, guardians, and community as a whole are heard. Yet again, we apologize for the inconvenience and sincerely appreciate your continued time, patience, and support.
